BRIDGING THE GAP

We are delighted to inform our members that, in December 2022. The national Lottery generously awarded us a grant of £10,000.

This grant will be used to create opportunities for the youth of our shul of all ages that we have, until now, been able to support.  Everyone agrees that our youth are the future of our shul.

To this end, examples of our future activities which have been enabled by this grant are:

• Weekly social events for 2-3 hours
• A shabbos youth minyan followed by refreshments
• A nightly learning programme for teenagers
• ‘Big Tent’ social events, with music, 6 times a year, in our own hall and open to the wider community
• Employing a youth director to cater for all our youth
